The Dimlux Pro Series 1000w fixture offers 2,016 μmol/s (1.95 μmol/J) at 1000w and 2,339 μmol/s (1.96 μmol/J) when boosted to 1150w.

The Pro Series Light can be dimmed to 50% and boosted up to 115% while still maintaining efficiency code compliance. Manual power settings: 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1075 and 1150w. The Pro Series also offers a 4-character digital status display with scrolling text. 

CLOSED BALLAST WITH GEO-MEMBRANE

The Dimlux Pro Series 1000w Grow Light is ideal for use indoors and in greenhouses. The Pro Fixture has a closed ballast to help protect from moisture in environments with high humidity. The ballast is also equipped with a geo-membrane to equalize pressure inside and outside the ballast in order to prevent moisture from getting into the unit when cooling off.

The white color of the fixture also helps prevent overheating the ballast due to light absorption, and aids in reflecting more usable light to the canopy instead of absorbing it.

VERTICAL BALLAST

The ballast on this grow light is mounted vertically to decrease the amount of daylight that may be blocked by the fixture. Dimlux has performed daylight simulations in CAD and this design was proven to cause the least light interference during a full daylight cycle.

Each fixture also comes standard with a built in level indicator. Because the illuminated surface in a greenhouse is considerably more extensive than indoor grows, leveling the Pro Series is paramount in creating good uniformity and preventing shadows.

PROTECTIVE MAGNETIC LAMP HOLDER CAPS

A new Dimlux design, these magnetic caps prevent touching the lamp holder when the lamp is hot. It is both an electrical and fire safety measure. It also assures the lamp holder is properly closed when the caps are installed.

ULTRA REFLECTIVE

This greenhouse fixture is equipped with Dimlux’s passively cooled Ultra Optics Reflector to ensure optimum lamp temperature and the highest light output. The reflector has a Miro 95 (99.99 aluminum) finish. Unlike the common Miro Silver reflector on other grow lights, the Miro 95 reflector prevents deterioration in high humidity when scratched.

Available in 3 different styles: Hybrid (included with fixture), Deep (sold separately), and Wide (sold separately), the Ultra Optics reflector is also easy to remove and change, increasing labor efficiency.

The main goal in designing the Ultra Optics Reflector was to achieve the highest efficiency (light output) possible. This reflector uses the same Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) principle as other Dimlux HID fixtures. The SBCS design ensures photons strike the reflector only once, before they are bounced out and directed to your canopy. This principle also aids lamp longevity because the light is NOT directed back through the lamp’s arc tube causing premature degradation.
